?TIME ON MY HANDS
I am still home with vertigo! MD says at least another 3 months until I can return to work or shop at Wallyworld without falling over. I am relieved that he thinks the same as I feel - Can you see me - the Intensive Care Unit Nurse - crawling from patient room to med cart? No I can't either - so I will continue with the torturous vestibular rehabilitation exercises and be seen by every neurologist and ENT in the world! Next, I go to Mass Eye and Ear for a workup!!! Hooray!!! More tests!
So far all the tests have come back negative. The neurologist said that my brain was "perfect" - something I have always known(HEEHEE). My husband and children feel that I definitely need a second and perhaps third opinion because they "know" there is something wrong with my head!!! (Minus 4 million man points for hubby and 2 less presents under the Christmas tree for both kids)
The upside -1. I can knit until my fingers fall off.
2. My computer is better than a yarn store because I can get any yarn I want.
3. I can work on my blog
4. Sympathy from some members of my family
5. I have the summer off!(Thank Heaven - I have a lot of sick/vacation time)
6. I have to learn Tai Chi for vestibular rehab - I love it!!
Plus lots more --- but look at what I made for my future grandbabies!
Hat is a Fiber Trends Pattern made with Reynolds Saucy Sport Cotton
Sweater is a Dale of Norway made with Baby Ull - Small ladybug buttons on the shoulder!

Adorable! I like the ladybugs best, I confess.
Marvelous. I realize that you are not well. BUT to have the time and the resources to knit and smell the lilacs to one's heart's content? Sounds like heaven to me.
Look at that hat... and then that sweater... They're both incredible, though I have to admit the ladybug sweater is my absolute favorite.
So cute! I've always loved that sweater.
Aren't you just the busiest little knittin' machine!? I am so jealous since my knitting is stolen time in between inconveniences like work and house chores. Now you just have to find a way to transport yourself to Portland every Tuesday night..."Beam me to the Woods at Canco, Scotty"... and everything would be perfect. We miss you!!! Take good care of yourself!

I hope you feel better soon, but if it's any consolation, it hasn't hurt your knitting - gorgeous! I love the lady bug sweater, it's so sweet.
I'm pleased to hear your brain is in full working order. I hope you feel better with it soon.
The ladybird sweater is absolutely adorable.
I hope you feel better soon, my grandmother has vertigo, and she said it isn't fun! I LOVE the lady bug sweater. Did you have to steek? Is it scary?
